Gets Along With: Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.

Special Adoption Considerations: When Dandy arrived from the shelter, she was pretty reserved in the hustle and bustle of city life. She has been making great strides in foster care! We think Dandy would do best in a home that either has a resident dog or who can make sure Dandy has lots of opportunities to go on walks regularly with other dogs or visit dog parks and/or doggie daycare with other dogs to build confidence.
Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.
Dandy is Looking For: Hiya! I'm Dandy! Me and my littermate, Dinky, have loved our time in the puppy pile, but we are each ready to pack our bags and find our very own forever home! I'm looking for a home that will let me play with toys and get my puppy zoomies out and give me snuggles in between playtimes. When I'm a little older, I can't wait to explore my new neighborhood on lots of walks, and I'd really like to make a bunch of doggie friends along the way. Oh, and I should probably take a puppy obedience class or two so I can show you how smart I am. What do you say? Do you have room in your heart for me?
What My Foster Says About Me: Dandy is a super sweet girl who just wants to cuddle and play all day long! She's a bundle of outgoing energy and playful spirit, ready to infuse your home with joy and laughter. This lively pup has a particular fondness for chew toys, finding pure delight in sinking her teeth into a good one. While she loves to wrestle with her sister (Dinky), Dandy is just as content entertaining herself with her favorite toys, showcasing her independent streak and playful nature.
She loves our current resident dog and would be a great addition to any family! Dandy is very smart and has loads of personality to share:) , Dandy warmed up quickly to me and my kids, displaying her affectionate side and eagerness to form bonds.
Dandy is a quick learner, especially when treats are involved. Her progress in potty training is equally impressive, demonstrating her intelligence and willingness to please. While she may take a bit of time to settle into her crate, Dandy is improving day by day, sleeping through the night without any accidents.
In the evenings, Dandy's playful antics give way to sweet cuddles on the couch, complete with silly poses and her signature 'butt up in the air' move. With her endearing personality and boundless energy, Dandy is the perfect companion for anyone seeking a furry friend to join their family.
Puppy Vetting Requirements: Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.
Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!
