Callie -- one of our shy kitten mommas -- finally found her home after months of looking this past week and we are thrilled. Her new mom reports that "Callie is doing wonderfully already—she’s eating food, using the litter box, sleeping, and drinking water from a bowl.

Callie has already gone from hiding in corners to coming out for pets, and has been all over me with loud purrs after a bit of work to make her feel comfortable. The difference already is incredible, and she’s doing very well in the room she’s in now. She’s walking confidently, runs to me for pets (even if I’m standing up), giving lots of meows to communicate, and has started to explore the room beyond just the tight areas.

Anyway, basically just wanted to let you know that things are going great and we’re already seeing improvement with just a day of work on making her feel welcome. Check out this photo of her enjoying looking out the window (well, looking at me during window look time) because it was cute."

We firmly believe that the perfect home is out there for all of our Lucky Dogs and Cats, and are thrilled that Callie has found hers. Happy Tails Callie!
