To My Lucky Dog Family,

We have the most EXCITING news this month!!!!

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is now the proud owner of 20 acres of land in Florence, South Carolina!!!

What does this mean for the future of Lucky Dog? The sky is the limit!!! We are currently working with a great architectural firm on the design of kennels, a parvovirus and infectious disease treatment center and eventual vet clinic where we can provide low cost spay/neuter. We will be able to pull dogs and cats from surrounding rural counties and prepare them for transport to the DC area in much greater numbers than we can now.

We will be able to take evacuation transports both in advance of, and in the aftermath of, natural disasters. We will be able to assist with hoarding situations and other instances of neglect when the animals need time to prepare to be placed into foster homes. And, we can do even more to stop pet overpopulation at its source.

Plus, we will be building a volunteer center where -- post-Covid -- volunteers can spend a night or more helping out our shelter animals!

We are so, so, so excited about all the potential that comes with this exciting new chapter in Lucky Dog's history. And, we know we couldn't have made it to this point without YOU.

In the coming weeks and months, we will be sharing naming and other opportunities for our new facility. No matter what kind of impact you want to have -- whether you contribute time or funds -- we are looking forward to your support.

Lucky Dog has always been an amazing community of volunteers, adopters and supporters. We are recognized nationwide for our incredible life-saving results. Now we can do even more. And, we can do it together.

Thank you on behalf of all the Lucky Dogs and Cats!
