To My Lucky Dog Family,

2021 is off to a roaring start at Lucky Dog! We have huge plans this year, including our goal of saving a record breaking 4,000 animals this year. This is really ambitious when you consider we never saved more than 2,000 animals until 2020. But, we know we can achieve it with YOUR support.

There are so many ways to get involved with Lucky Dog. You can show your support from anywhere in the world; volunteer your time from the comfort of your own home; use your digital platforms to spread the word about our lifesaving work. Consider these many ways you can help us save lives:

Join us for Mix & Match Madness on March 13th! This one of a kind Virtual Festival will feature wine, beer, spirit, cheese and chocolate tastings. And you don't even have to leave your own home to join us!

Become an Adoption Screener or Adoption Coordinator and help prospective adopters get ready to find their new four-legged friends. Sign up to have 20-30 minute phone conversations about what families might be looking for in a new pet and get them pre-approved.

Foster a Lucky Dog or Cat! The number of animals we are able to save is directly dependent on the number of foster homes we have. With no facility of our own, fosters are literally our #1 lifesaving tool!

Leave a Legacy of Love by creating your will today. Freewill.com is a free service that will help you ensure that your pets and loved ones are cared for if anything were to happen to you. And, you can even include a gift to Lucky Dog as a lifesaving legacy of love.

Sign your kids up for the Lucky Youth Program! Our youth program is ramping up for 2021, and kids 17 and under are invited to join. Recently one of our youth program members hosted a successful Minecraft fundraiser! Others are preparing our newsletter, and even others have been doing internships for school credit. There are so many options!

Join the Lucky Stars! Our monthly donors -- the Lucky Stars -- are absolutely critical to Lucky Dog's success as they provide reliable income each month to ensure our animals receive the care they need. Trade in just one Starbucks coffee a week, and you can save lives!

We often describe Lucky Dog as volunteer powered. We get all our power from our volunteers and our supporters. YOU are what drive us. YOU push us forward. YOU make it possible for us to save lives 365 days a year.

We have ambitious goals for 2021 -- and hopefully a HUGE announcement coming next month. We're so excited to have you on this journey with us! Stay tuned!
