January 2021 News

To My Lucky Dog Family,

After a year like 2020, one might wonder if it's worth planning for an upcoming year. After all, last year didn't turn out to be anything like we had planned. What if 2021 turns out to be just as unpredictable?

We plan because we have to be PREPARED. We have to have GOALS. And, with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, we plan because LIVES ARE LITERALLY ON THE LINE.

The unprecedented interest in rescue animals in 2020 has given us a glimmer of what we can achieve when we put our minds to it. What we can achieve when we all come together and focus on saving the lives of animals dumped in shelters across the United States.

Just imagine what 2021 would look like if Lucky Dog:

-- Saved the lives of 4,000 animals (500 more than 2020).
-- Created a thriving neonatal rescue kitten program.
-- Onboarded 20 new shelter partners.
-- Grew our nascent pregnant mom foster program.
-- Increased our foster ranks enough that we never had to say no to animals needing to get out of a kill shelter.
-- Broke ground on a new rescue facility in South Carolina where the majority of our animals come from.

With YOUR support -- as fosters, adopters, donors, and volunteers -- we can achieve all of this and more! The lifesaving possibilities are endless.

We are so grateful for all you made possible this last year, and we can't wait to see what 2021 has in store!
