NIMBLE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name:  Nimble        Best Guess for Breed:   Lab and shepherd mix

Best Guess for Age:   1 year as of April 2024       SEX:   Female

Approximate Weight:  33 lbs

Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested.

Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride up here.

Check out this video of Nimble:  https://youtu.be/pK6VVotbpcE.

Special adoption considerations:   When Nimble arrived in the shelter, she was scared and shut down. However, she has been making great strides. We think Nimble would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to continue to build confidence.

Nimble is Looking For: Her forever home! This young girl is eagerly looking forward to her new chapter. The one where she gets her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures her family can dream up. (Jumping over candlesticks with Jack might be ok, but she's also happy to forgo that.) She hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet and is looking forward to making new pup and people pals along the way. Exploring all the toys to see what she likes best, quality kibble, and a cushy dog bed are on her wish list as well.

She promises lots of adoring gazes and love and loyalty for all her days in exchange. What do you say? Is this Nimble girl the one you can see trotting by your side - or, given her nice small size, potentially  on your lap?
