Slate is Looking For:   His forever family! This handsome spotted boy dreams of spending his days adventuring with his new family, taking long sniffy walks, and making new friends at the park. Slate would love to go to doggy school so that he can show you how smart he is, an A+ student!!  Most of all, he's hoping for a home where he feels safe and loved. What do you say? Could Slate be the newest member of your family?

What My Foster Says About Me:  Introducing Slate, the captivating Catahoula mix on a quest to find his forever family! This lovable pup is a treat enthusiast, adores cuddles, and finds joy in exploring the great outdoors. With a love of routine and a hunger for learning new tricks, Slate is as intelligent as he is affectionate. Whether he's happily gnawing on bones, nestling into a pile of soft blankets, or happily prancing around like a horse, Slate's zest for life is contagious. We are working on leash training and getting used to city noises. He is also very food-motivated and eager to please and is doing well with crate training.

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
