Miller is Looking For: His forever home! Through no fault of his own, this sweet boy ended up in the shelter. That isn't awesome for him because he is missing his right eye and it seems like his left eye isn't 20/20. He can see, but is slow to navigate in new environments and might bump into things. So you know what Miller wants most of all, right? To have his own forever home where the furniture isn't constantly moving around!

He's eager to once again have his own humans to trot alongside on all those adventures - his sniffer works perfectly well and he's looking forward to exploring the world with it! Most of all, though, he just wants to once again be a well loved dog, under his own roof for all his days. In exchange, he promises all the love and loyalty and happy tail wags his humans could ever want.

What My Foster Says About Me: Miller is an endearing little pup who is always happy to see his foster parents and his foster sister. While he may not have the best sight, it doesn’t slow him down when playing with our resident dog, and they enjoy a good sprint around the yard. He also responds well and adapts quickly to other dogs’ cues when playing! While on walks he politely passes people and other dogs, but does enjoy the chance to meet a new friend! Being outside clearly makes Miller happy, as he constantly has his nose to the ground to sniff something new, or has his head tipped back, nose in the air, sniffing his surroundings. He sometimes does startle in response to something he didn’t fully see, but a few words of reassurance help him reorient to his surroundings and move on to the next thing to sniff. Miller can pull a bit on walks when he wants to but he’s very responsive when we call him to come back to our sides—on walks or otherwise. Speaking of training, he hasn’t had an accident inside the house at all, and sleeps calmly in his crate overnight!

Miller is a very sweet pup who clearly has a lot of love to give and is looking for someone to love him back!
